BOOK Launch: Januar Yap’s new novel “Arkipelago” and short story collection “Matag Adlaw”

𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛: Discover Philippine history reimagined through Januar Yap’s new novel “Arkipelago” and short story collection “Matag Adlaw.” Both literary works are set to launch at the University of the Philippines Cebu’s Cinematheque (Lawak Sinehan) this week.
“Arkipelago” weaves together history, politics, and fantastical elements, while “Matag Adlaw” offers a vivid portrayal of Cebu City, capturing “contemporary scenes, making a lot of sense as well, particularly for those who are familiar with Cebuano sensibility and sensitivity.”
