UPLB presented ongoing and future initiatives with the Australian Government to Ambassador Yu. The group discussed different opportunities for postgraduate studies, higher education institutions (HEIs) collaboration, and strengthening Philippine-Australia relations.Prior to the meeting, Ambassador Yu joined UPLB and PA3I-Southern Tagalog Chapter at the Philippine-Australia Tree Planting Site located in the Makiling Botanic Gardens. They planted native tree varieties of marang banguhan (Artocarpus odoratissimus Blanco) and kalulot (Artocarpus rubrovenius Warb.).
UPLB welcomed Australian Ambassador Hae Kyong Yu on campus today, January 22.
The University and the Philippine-Australian Alumni Association, Inc. (PA3I) held a tree-planting activity at the Makiling Botanic Gardens (MBG). Ambassador Yu also met with university officials and personnel who completed their graduate studies in Australia.
